About The Artwork

Vintage from the 1920s Read the full description Materials: Zamak, Spelter, Metal, Bronze, Coper PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION AND VIEW PHOTOS CAREFULLY BEFORE BUYING An antique mantel clock with a spectacular sculpture of a girl sitting on the clock is a very realistic scene. A lamb sits at her feet. Small details of clothing and expressive facial expressions. Rectangular base, richly decorated with ears of wheat, oak leaves, and other floral ornaments. Down, in the center, a crossed cross and a shepherd's crook. The clock stands on four figured legs. *************************************************** Country of origin: France. Period: early 20th century. Comes with a key. Look: The watch is marked Japy Freres. This is a mechanical 8-day movement. The watch looks good considering its age. The clock strikes every half hour and the whole hour, but the clock itself does not work. The sculpture has the original authentic patina. Not polished. Material: Zamak (spelling); an alloy of zinc and lead that becomes copper-like over time Round dial with black Roman numerals. Roman numerals are printed on round enamel. Dimensions: Height 39 cm / 15.4 inches Width 37 cm / 14.6 inches Depth 16 cm / 6.3 inches Dial diameter 8 cm / 3.2 inches Weight approximately 4.5 kg / 9.9 lbs **********************************************************
