Architectural competitions are a challenging reality as they challenge reality. A proposal not only assumes build ability but asserts a logic that can equate within a given narrative. Who is telling the story? Are we to accept a conclusion? As the world hides its monsters that demonstrates our morality, judgement is cast upon an unsuspecting audience in defiance of any source of originality to suppress the ability for architecture to speak - architecture has spoken, as it has before and the imagination has stirred a 'hornets nest' that we refer to as 'local government'. When will we take responsibility that our education carries the weight and words for political enlightenment and not the decisions made by those that feel vindicated. We all feel vindicated, but architects are better at its understanding.
