About The Artwork

This Artwork on wood is made with a contain of materials mixed with painting. The woman illustration is a collage and the background is a photography of Hamburg/ Hafenctiy with digital elements. Here is the interpretation: In the picture "Ice and flowers" I would like to show the social coldness in our society. I chose a photo of HafenCity as the background. It looks perfect and orderly and the modern, futuristic houses and the Elbphilharmonie shine, but it still looks bare and the color mood expresses uneasiness The surreal female figure flies over HafenCity, with an oversized eye clamped under her arm. That means that it is always important to look at the world with open eyes, observing and clear. The woman's face looks chalky white, quite frozen, you can literally feel how the cold goes into her limbs. Her torso looks bronze, metallic, and mechanical. But her wide trousers are printed with colorful, happy flowers that snake up on her body and unfold into the sky. With this metaphor, the artist shows that it is important to maintain a warm, flowery place despite the social cold. To love yourself and your fellow human beings, only then can you escape the freezing cold around you. Due to the dulling of society, social media and brutalization in cooperation, it is difficult to remain positive. But the more flowers you scatter, the more love you carry, the more we can escape the dilemma of escaping the social cold. Poem of Ice and Flowers: Ice and flowers Ice, icy, freezing cold pulls you up shivering pale environment still without life feelings are going the journey begins uncertain Delicate blossom wagons criss-cross in you, revive you, free you from the rigidity in the sky Hope hovers in the air. Warmth envelops you. Love wins against the lost, lies of the masses, the cold, ignorance the hate the flowers on their way hard but inevitably make their way against the current the ice will not melt But life wins
