About The Artwork
Walking on the cobblestones of the center of Rome, I imagined how many people during centuries have walked and suffered during their lifes. The statues on the bridge of Angels are carrying the tools with wich the romans inflicted great pain to Jesus. So I wanted to represent an image of the statue raising above the street made of raw flesh, human flesh of all the people that struggle and have struggled during their lifes. Only the love of Jesus can relief the pain of life.
