Robert Jan Overeem 'A tie as a headband' Oil on wooden panel. This is yet another work from the 'Medical Education' series, which I started years ago using an old book about first aid bandages. While I first used the charm of bad prints and dusty negatives (which cause white dots, like a starry sky) as an image element (see previous work), this time I polished up the image and added color. I first want to exhibit before I put the work up for sale here.
