About The Artwork
This, "Faded Rose of Days gone By..." is trying hard to keep from fading. This is an Acrylic on Canvas Study which is 8.5" x 11". This Miniature study is Acrylic on canvas. All of my miniatures are specially priced for those who are collecting them and those wish to begin collecting them. Here is the thing about the Mini's, each is one of a kind in miniature (though I do sometimes paint a much larger version in oil on canvas). Since I only paint one of each pose, it is first come first served on the popular Miniatures and you do not have to worry about being outbid. I often under-paint using the accepted process of the Old Masters on my oil, tempera, acrylic paintings, in one or more of the following media, following in descending order of frequency: oil, acrylic, tempera, pastel, watercolor, or digital image transfers of my sketches, and/or photos of my models.

Born in Oak Park Illinois, USA. I am a painter, writer, architectural designer, sculptor, I took an early retirement from my Professorship and advertising careers.I paint, mainly figures, I write novels and a column, blogspot, I survived polio as a lad to become an athlete and artist. I prefer to paint beautiful women and action/adventure images, as well as some religious art. I was an academic child prodigy in primary school, and won a Chicago Art Institute scholarship at age 11 for figure drawing. I won Ford Foundation Fellowships, HEW Scholarship, and a Merit scholarship in figure Painting in college. Now I have returned to painting after a long hiatus.
