My work was influenced by sex trafficking theme, which not only involves women but unfortunately children and young men, and recently a lot of refugees in the Middle-East and all around the world. Human exploitation is a modern-day form of slavery. Dina could have been a happy beautiful woman, but the array of sadness that passes through the contrasting vivid colors of this painting shows that underneath the lights, lies an obscure reality, a call for help through her sad, bruised eyes. This painting includes a Certificate of Authenticity. Painted with care on highest quality 100 percent Linen canvas. Finished with UV protection varnish.
