About The Artwork

Hanami-"flower viewing" is the Japanese traditional custom to enjoy the transient beauty of cherry blossoms. In this oil painting, A young girl wearing a beautiful Japanese traditional clothing"Kimono". The reference photo was taken in High Park (Toronto) many years ago... High Park Cherry Blossom season only lasts 7 to 10 days every year, attracted thousands of viewers every day. The last year 2020, the park was closed due to covid 19, and only a virtual tour was provided. This year may be the same... I also take inspiration from Vincent Van Gogh Painting" Girl in White", by using forceful color and fresh paint strokes, I would like the viewers to feel how the beauty of cherry blossoms and the youthfulness of life are sadly transient. To dress up in the most beautiful traditional Kimono to Hanami is such a privilege and fond memories

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

Through my painting, I want to seize the moments, capture the emotions, and freeze time. Stunning landscapes of Canada and my travel experiences to Peru are my inspiration. I strive to present the rhythm, pattern, and color harmony reflected in the landscapes. People’s faces have always fascinated me. In painting portraits, I am not seeking to achieve photograph likeness, but to express emotion and elevate character by using color tastefully and deliberately.
