About The Artwork

Workers install a boom to collect any leaking fuel on the John B. Caddell, a 168 foot, 700 ton water tanker, seen grounded on the shore of the Stapleton neighborhood of Staten Island. The tanker was pulled from its mooring during Hurricane Sandy on Monday and ended up a mile away. No one was on board the vessel at the time and no one was injured.
