The photographer does not start by simply portraying men and fish, in a relationship that is transfigured and mute, but is inspired by the song of Lucio Dalla How deep is the sea. It is interesting to discover that Dalla was inspired by Arnold Böcklin’s painting – from the collection of the Kunsthaus in Zurich – portraying St. Anthony predicating to fish. “The image that inspires music that inspires images”.
