Morris Mcknight

I was raised in a small rural town in north central North Dakota and was the fifth oldest in a family of seven children. Because I had artistic abilities, I was involved in many activities that required those skills. Everything from designing the high school mascot logo to painting sets for the drama department. Although I did paintings from an early age, I felt my direction should be graphic design. So as early as six years old, I knew I would have a career in graphic arts. My parents encouraged this direction even though we were very poor and they could not afford art school.

I attended the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota and graduated with a degree in Fine Art and a minor in Technical Theatre.
