Just Do It Drawing

I became inspired for this work by a long convoluted tree in a Prague park, across the street from the church where the Nazis surrounded the freedom fighters who killed Heydrich. The piece is slightly suggestive, so I hope the viewers will find the piece a little bit provocative and very amusing. I found the complexities of the tree challenging to draw and paint. I use charcoal because it is a dark medium that I almost sculpt with a paper towel and the very limited use of erasing. I like motifs that can be interpreted to have human-like in their evocations.
