Architectural elements mix with nature, as trees and animals (deer and squirrel), move in on what man left. Wood burned scene with mountain backdrop, this is a folk piece that shows remnants of the (US) Pacific Northwest Logging Industry with this old log flume. Since this piece is tied to the logging industry, it is only fitting that it is wood burned, and has large areas where the grain can be on prominent display. Hello! My name is Juliene. I am located in Western, PA and have always had an interest in art of all forms. I took up pyrography in early 2018 after receiving a pyrography tool as a Christmas present the year prior. I enjoy mixing mediums to include colored pencil, paint, wood burning, and scroll saw wood working. I pull inspiration from nature and travel.
