Irina Miccoli (Born Irina Lyshova) was born in a town in South Urals Russia called Chelyabinsk,Where she attended a prestigious art school from an early age. As a part of art education Irina participated in many joined exhibitions and has won awards. ( including honors certificate from the department of Arts and Culture of Russian Federation). Now based between Europe and South Africa, Irina mainly paints on canvas in the traditional Russian school style with a touch of African Flare and cultural undertones reflecting her life of travel and working as a fashion model. Her art is founded in the drawing of animals and portraits showing singular sensitivity and creative dialogue into the inner feelings of her subjects and expressing their distinguished souls as much as the way their material bodies have been formed over millennia, Irina has started what looks by all accounts to be a very successful journey of artistic self-discovery and expression using artistic skills and techniques that are more commonly found amongst mature and celebrated artists of the past.
