Italian Myth Installation

This photograph is inside "OPPOSIZIONI" project. Opposizioni expresses my love for symmetry (for me is the beauty, the perfection[for many autistic friends is the same]) life is a sum which gives Zero as result... accordlingly with this every thing needs its opposite: love hate, good and evil, black and white. happiness and sadness. symmetry is perfection, but it exists only if a man creates it. Moreover when i mirror the image, sometimes borns a new significance of the whole of photo. This photo is printed on plexiglass and the light come from the led inside the wooden box. The frame is hand cut aluminium, You need only to plug in and illuminate your home or restaurant, or the bar with the italian myth: Fiat 500. *** A few words on Asperger’s Syndrome Aspie is a man or a woman or a boy or a girl who’s affected by asperger’s syndrome. What does it means? It means that we are not like normal people, we are weird, we’re naive, we are like hamsters (and i use this word cause our thoughts are too fast, like an hamster in the wheel) in the middle of the wolves; we don’t know how to be ipocrite we could talk for hours about our interests, but if u ask us what we’ve did yesterday, we remain in silence. If somebody says us something, for us it’s true. No way. Easily we feel disrupted, won, desperate. We are wrong, we But i want remember to us that many artists are, or were aspergers: From Mozart to Sir Anthony Hopkins, Dan Aykroyd… Andy Warhol.
