I am a junior paleoartist from the Netherlands, using new techniques in digital art. I tend to make refreshing reconstruction and conversation starters at the dining table or living room. My work is mostly photorealistic with a little taste of surrealism. Sometimes realistic or stylized combination between multiple disciplines. I see paleoart as the ultimate combination of science and art, a place of mystery and wonder. Sometimes knowledge about subjects are limited so there is a lot of speculation and creativity within this gaps. It is my goal to interest and give the old natural world a new place in our hearts. Paleoart is often seen as 'dinosaur-art'. I like to break that vision, in making the creatures and forms of life that are often forgotten or unknown to the public.
