About The Artwork
Mother of pearl is an unique artwork material to make inlay on furniture, which is traditional technique. The classical method is complicated including several patient layers to complete the work. I use rice glue to put layer on acrylic underpainting surface. Depending on the subject composition, blue, red, gold, dark green acrylic paint is used. After applying tiny pieces of shell onto canvas with rice glue, the work will be completed with several clear coat of varnish.
