ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In this time of disorientation, we all long for a deus ex machina that gives us perspective and shows us the way. In this artwork I combine figurative with realism and surrealism to create a powerful scene that blurs the boundaries of reality. The emotional tension between the classically dressed figures and the monumental, almost alert stone figure embodies a play of power and mystery. My goal was to create an atmosphere that makes the viewer think while exuding a timeless elegance that enlivens any room. The picture consists of two parts, which are connected to each other via hinges. The stretcher frames are extra reinforced versions.
