ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is a painting is in mixed paint on panel. Added to it is a small pigmented plaster shard made in many layers. Europa's Everlasting End is a trinity of an eroded/sanded abstract layered texture, a realistic painted greek sculpture and the shard. It is a work about the idea of the erosion of the culture, democracy and solidarity of Greece, Europa and the World as a whole.
