I like rain. I like the smell of rain falling on a hot surface in the summer. So when I stumbled over expression "Mitti attar" the idea for this painting was born. In India they distill a parfum with that name that resembles the smell of the first drops of rain at the beginning of the monsoon season. Perhaps one day I will go there.
