About The Artwork
Lightmotif of this printing is descent of Soul into material world. I painted it in time when reading Plotinus who was major Hellenic philosopher in Roman Empire in 3rd century AD. Plotinus is nowadays called a Neoplatonist, thus stood on teachings of Pythagoras and Plato. His ideas influenced greatly cultures and religions later on, but also science of modern time. Painted on sturdy wood panel and varnished. Ready to hang.
