The idea is just a wink to the the famous painting of Wermer "girl with a pearl ". I made a serie of these girls today that are often with a phone , but of course they wear pearls . Centuries have passed, girls are different but are still wearing pearls. This is an oil painting made with different coats ; each coat has to be dried before the following one .
