About The Artwork

This is a continuation of the series “Intro” that I have started in September 2020. The series includes 8 works, but I think I will continue it until the global pandemic ends. The paintings in this series are reflections on how a person feels in forced isolation and what the way out of this situation should be expected. The painting is dominated by turquoise color, which is perceived as cool, clean, moist, mysterious, and fascinating. Feelings of freshness and wind are associated with it. This color does not cause irritation, but only gives a feeling of peace and tranquility. In modern people, it is also associated with rapid electronic flows. The conditional floor and walls of the painting are made in this color and represent the matrix of human life. The picture shows the silhouettes of Adam and Eve. They are surrounded by falling balls. These balls are brightly colored. The smaller ones are fluorescent and glowing yellow. This is increased pollen or pheromones. Bigger white balls symbolize informational elementary particles, which will change color over time, depending on the information of the future. Now they are white because humanity is facing a pandemic of this magnitude for the first time, and people still do not know what the consequences will be. Perhaps people's lives will shift to virtual venues, because living in the real world will become a dangerous and expensive adventure. On the Internet, they will choose their appearance, create families, and give birth to children. People will gradually go into a fictional neon reality, where there is no danger and no big risks. And there are no life-threatening viruses, too. We are at the beginning of a new civilizational stage, like Adam and Eve, before they tasted the apple of knowledge and were expelled from Paradise. I put a pineapple in Eve's hand—a symbol of creativity and innovation—instead of an apple. This is the best place for people to start if they are driven from one Paradise to the next one.
