About The Artwork
“Purtata dans” from Mures County is an embossed Tiffany stained glass where all the pieces of glass are painted before being soldered. “Purtata” is a Romanian folk dance from Mures County in Transylvania.This region is a very loved place for me, it is where my father was born and where I spend a part of my childhood. I have tried with this artwork to recreate the simplicity and beauty of the Mures folk costumes and in the same time the movement of this beloved dance
