Rustle of Grass in the Wind Painting

For a couple of years now, Lithuania has stopped cutting the grass along the roads almost until mid-July. And it has become a real feast for the eyes. So many beautiful grasses and flowers grow around, they create such beautiful scenic carpets with the smells and sounds of wild bees buzzing. You see the changing hues and combinations of colors in different parts of the country. In August everything is mowed again... and the beauty is gone, but everything becomes civilized for a while. I like to stop by the side of the road and go into the fields to take photographs. In winter, when the fields are empty and covered with a layer of snow, I like to go through the photos I took in summer and remember the summer heat, colors, smells and sounds. This painting is part of the “Roots and Grasses in the Wind” series, created between 2019 and 2022. The series is based on images of natural objects such as tree roots, grasses, flowers and animals. Occasionally, lonely human figures appear in this background as an integral part of this world. Personally, I prefer to send oil paintings stretched on a frame, but over a long distance this can significantly increase the cost of shipping. Therefore, I suggest, at the request of the client, if the work allows (not all works can be removed from the stretcher and twisted), remove the canvas from the stretcher and send it rolled in a tube. This will save you a considerable amount of money. I can put parts of the stretcher in the same tube so that you can use them by giving them to the nearest salon for framing pictures.
