ABOUT THE ARTWORK
So, although I have a lot of passion in my life for so many things, I often find it difficult to express larger issues in my paintings. I'm really good at painting beautiful pictures, but whenever I try to make it about something, I end up failing. This time, I decided to do a self portrait, and not try to make it mean anything, except for one basic idea. The eyes are painted differently. They are detailed and multi-colored, where the rest is not. The eyes are me. The rest is everything else.
