Study on symmetry nº2 Painting

I started with the right side ... After the first study on symmetry, I decided to do a series. I looked for two pieces of canvas in the studio that were already in process, but far from being resolved. The right side already had an interesting background on raw cotton canvas, without preparation; the left side covered with several layers of white paint, so that the acrylic paint behaved differently on each side.It is a study on symmetry and complementarity: light and dark, day and night, right and left ...Reference is made in the work to the fact that Color is context. Several hues are the same on both sides, however they are differently perceived due to the background on which they are found.
