Hello everyone, my name is Alexey Kuznetsov, I am a self-taught artist from Russia. I always liked creativity in its various forms. In my childhood I loved to draw, I painted everything that comes to hand and on anything, I constantly participated in school exhibitions and competitions and very often occupied high places there (I still have a lot of children's drawings). As a teenager, he became interested in photography, over time, the passion for shooting video was added to this, and in 2016 I returned to painting. I love music, this is a very important part of my life, I can not spend a day without it. It is a particular pleasure to paint a picture while listening to music that suits the mood of the picture. Working on each picture, I listen to only 1 album of this or that artist, from the beginning of work to its completion. It plunges into the history of the picture, creates emotions and mood. He painted his first picture on canvas in 2016 and since then I can’t stop. I like to express my thoughts and moods with paints on various surfaces. In my work there is no clear framework and it is difficult to attribute it to a specific form. But in general, it is close to abstract minimalism, surrealism. Each work is associated with a certain stage in life, thoughts, mood. This is great when you can express your thoughts on canvas, fabric or wood and other people will see these thoughts. Each work is a piece of me, my thoughts, energy and time. I prefer to work with acrylic paints, this allows you to quickly express your emotions on the surface. Some of my works are in private collections in Russia, the USA and Canada, and the awareness of this fact is very exciting and has the potential to dive deeper into this process. I am very interested in what emotions and thoughts arise in other people when I see my work. Indeed, abstractionism and surrealism allows us to perceive the same thing in completely different ways.
