I have been dealing with the theme of "delight" for several years in my artistic practice. I work in various media, I try to approach the topic from different perspectives. On the website you can see the videoart "Delight and Smętek" displayed at the Arsenał Gallery in Poznań at the "Magical Engagement" exhibition, which is a kind of introduction to my painting. The video and the series "Light. A Study of Delight" were created in the same Masurian town of Pasym, which I have great fondness for, because this is where I grew up and my sensitivity was shaped there. There has never been a lot of attractions in this strange universe, which made me see the weirdness in the simplest of things. The pictures show the views I pass through almost my whole life, captured in this unique moment, in which the unusual light gave it an almost mystical, emotional character and evokes a personal feeling of beauty, which I call delight. I approach the painting craft with great care, which is why each painting was created on a carefully selected 400-gram linen canvas. The material is stretched over thick looms. Then I 'stick' the surface with gelatin and apply a handmade semi-greasy primer at 60 degrees Celsius. The support prepared in this way is able to survive several hundred years along with the paintings. BIO: (website achievements) I am interested in simple truths. What is truth? By finding the truth about our identity and individuality, I believe it is possible to remove further veils separating us from knowing the personality of the universe. I am interested in the private context of a person. Infantilism, maturity and in between seeking honesty. I am fascinated by experiencing life. My dream is to touch art, reflect, provoke experience. I see the meaning of life in experiencing, openness to my own emotions (often destructive) as an important part of education and good psychophysical condition.
