Artist, illustrator and screen printer, Andy Wilx wants to make art that you can’t take your eyes off. Andy creates Worlds populated by enchanting characters playing out mini dramas within a landscape of intricate pattern. His use of shimmering colour, silver and gold hark back to an age of illuminated manuscript and religious icons, while the stories he tells are drawn from the diverse wildlife with whom he shares his suburban world and ignites his imagination. Andy was recently awarded ‘Best International Artist’ by the Global Artist Agency and his work has been exhibited worldwide. He has also worked on commissions ranging from personal portraits, company marketing and illustrated books.
