Contemporary, intuitive artist Stella Zuegel is best known for her unique geometric artworks using both acrylics and texture on canvas and watercolour on paper. Each piece is painted free hand and takes her between 1-24 months to complete. Stella’s work is a geometric representation of both her journey towards understanding the world and its people and her inner path to discover the essence of her being. It is inspired by her own experiences and emotions and by the experiences and emotions of the people she meets. Stella’s work naturally aligns to both the contemporary geometric art of the West and the ancient spiritual geometric art of the East. In her work, Stella plays with shapes, texture and colour to create depth, dimension and cohesion, intuitively expressing the way she experiences the make-up of the world, the self and the universe. Geometry, texture and colour are sub-consciously joined in Stella’s process. The resulting oneness and interplay of both deliver a fresh and unique yet intrinsically timeless and human experience of perspective and perception for her audience to explore and enjoy.
