I live in Louisiana, my home state, with my husband and our two fur-babies, Otis and Lulu. I love God and my country as well as our family. We share chickens with our neighbor; love the eggs. My husbands four children and their spouses are my friends and family and I love to paint for them. I can't wait to be a Maw-Maw, soon.
I am self taught in the art of watercolor which started in Nov. 2015. I tried it one day and fell in love - and I'm still in love with painting in watercolors. I followed a number of artist online, taking video tutorials and instructions and trying their techniques out on my own. It all started with Barry Toshio Shiraishi, then Deb Watson, Anna Mason, Rebecca Rhodes, Susan H. Tustain, and Doris Joa.
I'm very new to watercolors and only just have my first painting hanging in the Art House Gallery in St. Tammany Art Assoc., Covington, LA (Aug. 2018). I'm thrilled!
