Henry Guillermo Díaz (b. 1986, Maracaibo, Venezuela) is a self-taught contemporary artist based in New York City. Working primarily in acrylic on canvas, he creates mystical abstractions where color, gesture, and symbol give form to inner experience — what he calls "the language of his soul."
After stepping away from art while studying law, Díaz returned to painting following illness and personal loss, transforming memory, grief, and resilience into vivid, emotionally charged work. His paintings explore transformation, identity, and renewal — often inhabited by cats, serpents, and esoteric creatures drawn from myth and intuition.
He accepts commissions, including custom pet portraits.
