Anna Lyashenko is a Ukrainian artist born in 1991 in Cherkasy, Ukraine, where she currently lives and works.
Her practice combines precision and detail with a search for metaphorical meaning. The works are created at the intersection of natural forms and personal transformations, reflecting the emotions as well as the states of mind of the artist. She explores the connections between life and fading, light and shadow, hope and frustration, fragility and strength, creating artworks which combine both technical skill and depth of feeling.
Anna's works are exhibited at the National Museum of Taras Shevchenko and the National Museum of Natural History of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
