Cæsiliæ's oneiric paintings open a window to radiant realms. They depict luminous reflections, women and floating flowers on water displaying a visual dance of light and feelings…
Her work appears in several private and public collections around the world and it has been featured several times in curated selections by international galleries and charity organizations dedicated to Women and the Environment.
Cæsiliæ comes from her second name, Cecilia, which means blind, fortunate or secret in Latin. In addition, Saint Cecilia (230 AD) was the saint for poets and musicians.
She is a French painter currently based in Berlin, Germany and specialized in painting with natural linseed oil.
Each artwork is unique and signed at the front or at the back by the artist.
Passionate about Art and Art history since her childhood, she has been developing her own style from daily practice during years of devotion. She has also been learning various approches directly from established artists around the world.
She loves to combine and explore timeless academic knowledge from old masters with a contemporary touch and with her creative and intuitive approach. She works from her own home studio in Berlin Schöneberg.
