Neal Burns

Born in 1979 in Dublin , Ireland, with a passion for portraiture, drawing (geometric, semi abstract) painting ( both figurative and abstract).Neal's unique style combines expressionist touch with with realism and cubism. This enables Neal to create work that doesn't fit into any stylistic cluster, drawing inspiration from a wide range of styles. Neal's Art deals with exploring the complexity of human emotions through symbols. Rather than being iconic verbatim depictions of people, his portraits often depict , dissect the artists gaze itself. This interioristation makes Neal's work akin to a journal or aide memoir, helping establish an inner narrative of feeling , of singularity of one's place on earth.
