Nightmarish Meatballs

As an artist, writer, and technology enthusiast, I enjoy exploring all aspects of humanity through the lens of art and fiction.

While I'm a painter, I also write original serialised horror fiction set in a pastel pink and green dystopia, utilising generative AI images as a visual tool (the story is told in narrative format on Instagram). As both a writer and an artist who uses artificial intelligence as part of my creative workflow, I find myself between two heavily nuanced and viciously clashing worlds: artists who believe that AI is a new tool we must adapt to and therefore incorporate it into their process, and artists who believe AI shouldn't exist and will destroy human-made art as we know it.

My goal is to explore the complex relationship that humans have with one another and with art, and examine the social politics and complex emotions that people grapple with when a new creative tool (in this case, AI) enters the scene.
