Olga Paints

Olga Paints is a France-based artist, whose work explores elements of magical realism through painting and illustration.

Before fully dedicating herself to art, she pursued a decade-long career in theoretical physics that took her across the United States, Chile, and Germany. In 2016, she moved to Paris to work as a researcher, where she became immersed in the city’s artistic landscape.

Alongside her research job, Olga developed her artistic practice through formal training and sustained studio work, building a foundation in drawing and painting across oil, acrylic, and watercolor.

Her work often combines figurative and illustrative elements with imagined narratives, creating pieces that balance technical precision with a sense of quiet surrealism.

Working from her Paris studio, Olga continues to develop a visual language shaped by both analytical thinking and storytelling - inviting viewers into scenes that feel at once intimate and open to interpretation.
