First, I spontaneously apply structural modeling paste with palette knives to create texture and relief. Then I transpose the colors, shadows, and light of the subject using metallic inks and acrylics. I have been drawing since I was very young. Throughout my career as an illustrator and graphic designer, I have worked with all kinds of media. Since 2009, I have been using this technique, which I call Relief Art, on canvas. Metallic, iridescent, and pearlescent colors make it possible to simulate the effect of light reflecting off vegetation, while the modeling paste adds depth and texture, making my work appear more realistic. My works are engraved with my initials JP in the modelingpaste. I have been working in the field of visual arts for 35 years already. The art relief technique since 2009.
