My works are created entirely in-camera, shaped by light, timing, and deliberate composition rather than digital manipulation. Through the subtle use of filters, each image is refined at the moment of capture — preserving the authenticity of the scene while translating it into a more interpretative visual language.

Most works are available as limited editions, with a select number also offered as certified digital editions.

My artistic path was shaped early on by a deeply immersive environment. Growing up in a family of artists in Romania, I was introduced to painting, composition, and art history from childhood. Under the guidance of my father, Constantin Bichescu — a painter, art teacher, and critic — I developed a strong foundation in visual language that continues to inform my work today.

Alongside this, classical music became an equally defining force. Rather than choosing between the two disciplines, I pursued a career in music while continuing to cultivate my visual practice independently.

Photography emerged as a natural extension of this dual background. What began as a search for a more immediate creative medium evolved into a personal language that bridges the precision of music with the expressive freedom of painting.

Today, I approach photography not as a tool for documentation, but as a means of creating images that resonate beyond reality — compositions that are constructed, felt, and experienced rather than simply observed.

In December 2021, my work was presented for the first time at the Photographie Museum Braunschweig – a significant milestone, followed since then by regular exhibitions of selected works. Further presentations took place at Galerie Seippel in Cologne as well as on international platforms such as ARTEXPO Paris 2024, Artbox.Project Zurich 6.0 (2024), and Artbox.Project Palma 2.0 (2024). Each exhibition enriches my artistic development and shapes the language of my works.
