Klaus Gropper

Born in Meyenburg / GermanyI have been living in Berlin for several years. In 1999 I gave up my job as a teacher. My views on art may be read in my manifesto 'Art & Reality' on my Homepage.

I've studied several subjects, among them literature, arts history and drama, and eventually became a teacher. I had my first commercial exhibition in 2005 at the Atelier Terra in Berlin. In 2007 I had a large exhibition (about 60 paintings and drawings) 'Tableaux enigmatiques' at the Stil & Bruch galleries . Since then I've had some smaller backyard gallery shows in and around Berlin.
