"Omišalj — Urban Coast Study" Print

Contemporary Croatian artist working in painting, literature, and music under the STArStAg artistic project. His visual work focuses on emotional abstraction, inner landscapes, and the relationship between memory, space, and human presence. My work explores inner landscapes through color, texture, and emotional resonance. I am not interested in representation as imitation, but in painting as an emotional event. Each work emerges from a dialogue between instinct and structure, where abstraction becomes a language of memory, tension, and presence. Rooted in what I call urban inner impressionism, my paintings seek the fragile space between reality and the internal world — where emotion, aesthetics, and empathy intersect. Painting is not decoration. It is a form of psychological geography.
