Rebecca Mannheimer

From the the Pacific Northwest, Rebecca earned her BFA degree from the Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA). She has lived the last 20 years in Eugene, Oregon in the heart of the Willamette Valley. inspired by the lush green of this valley and the fog that nestles between the surrounding hills in the winter and fall.
She is influenced by her surroundings, personal history and language. Her titles often define the subject within each piece and she likes to play with the duality of words and how they can have several connotations. Her paintings include some element of drawing, but through the years they have evolved to blend drawing and painting, an amalgam of lines, shapes, and colors that invite individual interpretation.
