Aleksandra Danilova is a Russian artist, born in Estonia in 1977. She moved to St-Petersburg, Russia in 1995. Since her childhood, she was fond of ballet and drawing. Aleksandra used to be a very romantic emotional child. But ballet took her whole time and she left painting for a while. She graduated from Tbilisi Ballet Art State School and worked in the Jakobson Choreographic miniatures theatre. At the age of 26, Aleksandra got seriously injured and had to forget about ballet. Aleksandra graduated from interior designer courses. She accounts for about 30 residential and commercial projects. It was on the design course at the age of 33 that Alexandra began to stand at the easel, painting still lifes, building figures. She chose painting in oil since graphics and watercolors did not excite her. For Aleksandra Danilova, the world is color. She realized that she loved to paint as well as dance. And she began to search for her own material. It appeared to be oil paints. Aleksandra graduated from the evening art courses for adults "Artica" and started painting regularly. Aleksandra gets inspiration in nature. Long walks and traveling, sea and mountains let her mind rest and be inspired. She reflects the beauty of nature in her paintings. She believes that a person will intelligently consume what is given by nature and conserve resources. Being in the constant search, Aleksandra is trying not to get stuck on small details and attempt to paint more quickly. So lately, Aleksandra has got an effort in the abstract painting too. She feels free when applying spontaneous strokes on canvas. She meditates and gets freedom as an artist. Painting became her physical need. Lately, Aleksandra spends more time getting knowledge in art, knowing her true desires, and getting rid of internal blocks. The aim of my art is to combine classical visual language with contemporary reality. My works are to attract the attention of the person to the beauty of the surrounding world and provide the motivation to act in order to preserve nature for future generations.
