PROFESSIONAL ART RESUME:Concha Vidal was born in 1975 in Palma de Mallorca(Spain) She alternates her studies of psichology with theater and painting.In the 2000 she graduates in Clinic Psichology in the Ramon Llull University of Barcelone and she works as a psichotherapist for a year.In 20001 she gets a Grant in Psichology (Sócrates) and she spends 6 months in London working as a therapist. In 2002 she finally chooses painting as a way to express her self and studies at La Massana School of Art of Barcelone during 2 years.In May of 2005 she makes her first individual exhibition called Body with no edges; in this exhibition she talks about 2 subjects which are at the moment in review and discussion: in one hand the concept of the body and on the other hand the representation of the body in posmodernism. In September of the same year she makes another individual exhibition in Joan Planellas Gallery(Gerona, Spain) called Topographies.Here the artist researches again about the representation of the body, a body influenced by tecnologies and virtuality.In 2004 she starts her doctorade in Painting at the Univesidad Central de Barcelone with the program Realidad asediada.A few months later she gives an speech at the Universidad Autnom...
