Ray Paul

I was born in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1962. I started drawing and painting at an early age. Nature, music and science were important factors in the development of my art. I received my M.F.A. in Painting from the University of Cincinnati in 1991, after earning a B.S. in Biology from Florida State University in 1986. I currently reside in Tampa, FL.

I utilize acrylics, enamels and latex in a colorful, energetic and abstract style. My influences are the Abstract Expressionists, the Surrealists, the Pop Artists and 1960's psychedelia.
