Giuliano Bekor

Giuliano Bekor is a Los Angeles-based fine-art photographer whose practice transforms the human figure and natural forms through projection, sculptural lighting, saturated color, and large-format composition. Drawing on an extensive career in editorial photography, Bekor creates highly constructed images through meticulous staging, physical performance, and close collaboration with his subjects.

His work explores identity, vulnerability, sensuality, and the relationship between body and environment. Rather than using photography solely to document what stands before the camera, he treats the medium as a space for transformation, creating images that feel simultaneously physical, painterly, and surreal.

Bekor’s series have been presented in Los Angeles, Paris, Athens, and Miami, at venues including the Museum of Cycladic Art, Le Royal Monceau Raffles Paris, Hôtel Plaza Athénée, the Pacific Design Center, and the Sofitel Beverly Hills. His work is currently presented at Giuliano Bekor Gallery in Los Angeles.
