Julia Morrison is a multimedia provocateur and storyteller from Palo Alto. Her work is informed by her experience in witness protection as a ward of California and through her survival making art on the street, onscreen, and on canvas in New York City. She writes smart, gritty female characters striving for love against the certainty of abandonment.

Julia minted the first #MeToo NFTs. Her artwork has been featured in Lapham’s Quarterly, NYTimes, Spike Art, Business Insider, The Atlantic, Whitehot Magazine, The Daily Beast, and more. She is a William and Mary Scholar, Women in Media Scholar and Grillo-Marxuach Family Fellow.

She lives in Los Angeles with her emotional support hamster, Manafort.
