Ludwina Van Hyfte

Ludwina Van Hyfte is a painter, a felt maker and collage artist. As a mixed media artist she is drawn to the textures and abstract qualities of the world around us
Ludwina has been working with different materials from acrylic to encaustic, collage and oil work. She believes art is to be lived with, to be experienced. Her work is inspired by emotions. Emotions of the environment and emotions of everyday life.

Contemporary art painter, fabric art, felted art maker. Born 1956 in Gent (Belgium), works and lives nearby Antwerp.
Ludwina graduated with a degree in Family Sciences.
Ludwina has had the opportunity to attend several workshops and courses with some incredible teachers. This is allowing her to hone in on what she most enjoys and discover her own voice.
