Born in 1986 in the heart of Tuscany—where he continues to live and create—this Italian landscape painter draws endless inspiration from the poetic light and undulating terrain of his homeland.
His artistic journey began at the International School of Comics in Florence, where his work as a colorist laid the foundation for a rigorous, scientific mastery of color theory.
However, an enduring devotion to nature soon led him to abandon illustration and fully commit to fine art landscape painting.
At the core of his practice is a refined synthesis of classical Italian heritage and 19th-century European realism.
By studying the techniques of Old Masters—most notably Caravaggio—alongside the French Impressionists, he bridges two revolutionary approaches to natural light.
Like the Impressionists, he frequently paints en plein air to capture the fleeting authenticity of the environment.
Yet, he infuses these vistas with Caravaggio’s dramatic chiaroscuro, employing bold light-shadow contrasts to explore nature through a metaphysical lens.
